Fall at Tabora

Apples, pears, pumpkins, scarecrows, hot coffee drinks, apple cider donuts…..our favorite time of year!  Fall is when Tabora really comes alive!

We have two great spots for you to explore and experience the magic of Fall! Just ¼ down the road from our market, every weekend 10-5 PM, you can experience a nice jaunt in the country on a fun wagon ride out to the orchards.  With each twist and turn of the ride you’ll see the beautiful countryside of Bucks County, finally arriving to our orchards, where we grow 5 varieties of pears and 13 varieties of apples.  Farmer Caleb Torrice has spent countless hours tending to the trees, pruning them in the frigid days of winter to nourishing them in the wee hours of the night, to bring you a full and bountiful crop now in the Fall!

After your trip to the orchards, you can walk through the pumpkin patch and pick that perfect pumpkin for your front porch! 

Or go right to our market at Tabora and become enveloped in the beauty of the harvest!  When you step on to our Tabora porch, the aroma of the freshly picked apples will lead your way.  As the Fall progresses and crops are ready, we have a huge selection of sweet, semi sweet, or tart apples, perfect for a quick crunchy treat or your favorite apple crisp dessert!  As you continue around our porch, you’ll find all sorts of Fall décor.  Enjoy our new eye catching Fall pumpkin trail, loaded with everlasting pumpkins and other fun things to bring the festive feel to your home! 

Stepping foot inside our market, let the warm smell of apple cider donuts wafting through the air, guide you.  You’ll find an awesome selection of fresh Fall produce, caramel apples, apple baked goods and more.  You might get hungry for some hand crafted lunch in our deli where you’ll see entrees with winter squash, pears, apples, and of course, our famous pumpkin apple soup!
